Bound in original publisher's blue paper boards with printed paper spine labels, top edge rough trimmed, others deckled. Covers worn, slightly soiled and scuffed, chipping to spine ends with small piece missing from tail of vol. 1 and head of vol. 2, corners rubbed and bruised. Bright interiors with only occasional mild foxing to prelims and endpages. Overall, a very good set of the first edition, first issue. [Todd & Bowden 171Aa].
