New York: Arbor House [1981], 1981. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo. [6], 7-192 pp. Quarter black cloth over grey cloth with gold lettering on the spine. Price of $10.95 on the front flap of the dust jacket. Henderson 107. Signed by Block on the title page. A nice copy of an early Matthew Scudder novel. A Near Fine book with a touch of wear to the top margin of a few leaves; dust jacket is also Near Fine and shows a crease to the front flap.
Synopsis
Lawrence Block is a four-time winner of the Edgar Award and was named a Grand Master by the Mystery Writers of America. He has also won four Shamus Awards, and was the first recipient of the Nero Wolfe Award. He is the author of over 40 books, many of which feature the characters Bernie Rhodenbarr, Matthew Scudder, Chip Harrison, and Evan Tanner. He lives in New York City with his wife Lynne.
