Raised band and elaborately gilt-tooled compartments to spine. Gilt filigree borders to front and back panel. Copy from Bridlington Grammar School with their gilt-tooled coat-of-arms to the front panel. Spine bands and panel edges slightly dust-toned and rubbed as with age. Remains particularly well-preserved overall; tight, bright, clean and strong. ; 8vo 8"" - 9"" tall; 388 pages; Description: vii, 388p. : frontis. (t.g)., illus. ; 19.5cm.
