Albuquerque, NM: University of New Mexico Press / U. N. M., 1957. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. Signed by Author. Hardcover/ DJ (has price $6.00); both VG condition; 9 x 6"", 310 pages. SIGNED & inscribed (dated June 17, 1957) on 1st blank page by author Tedlock. Assume First Edition- c. 1957; 1st printing- no note of further ones. DJ is bright w/ only minor rubbing & edge wear, maybe a trace of soil; 1/2"" triangular chip & 1"" tear top left corner of front panel, 1"" tear top right at flap; 1/8"" tear top rear panel. NO folds, scuffs, wrinkles or sun discolor. Blue cloth binding is tight, clean & square. NO bumps, scuffs or sun. All rust brown spine lettering & 4 symbols on front cover intact & totally legible. Thin red ink line across text block on top edge (doesn't really look like remainder mark). Text & endpapers tight, clean, UNmarked. NOT ex library. Very handsome, well preserved copy- both DJ & book display very well.
