Caldwell, Idaho: Caxton Printers, 1939. 247 pages, plus portrait frontispiece and a number of plates reproducing historic photographs. Original cloth. [23.5 cm.] A very good plus copy in about very good dust jacket. Book is slightly bumped on corners and shows some faint marginal foxing to plates and facing pages. Jacket is sunned (unevenly on front and rear panels) and has tiny tear to hinge between spine and rear panels. FIRST EDITION. Recounts Stevenson's honeymoon in Napa Valley, California, a journey which served as the basis for his book, "The Silverado Squatters."
