New York: Scribner's Sons, 1945. Early printing, 1950. HC w DJ. PC Good/Good. Green cloth, gilt titling in red fields, light edgewear, some dulling to edges, FO pencil notes & marginalia throughout, leaves toned, endpapers foxed, hinge cracked at title page, sound. Several instances of grass clippings and flower petals laid in at intervals w specific pencil notes recounting the FO 1952 pilgrammage to the estate/grave of Wolfe from which the clippings derive. Clipped DJ ($2.75 ink stamp) edgewear w nicks/chips, heaviest wear to tips, extremities rubbed, soiling to rear, now in Brodart. Selected and arranged in verse by John S. Barnes.
