Published by Folio Society, 2001. 1st thus edition.. Hardback. Very Good. Illustrated by Ruskin, John. Slightly better than very good condition with no wrapper. The Stones of Venice was originally published in 3 volumes between 1851 and 1853. Ruskin believed that the best of Gothic architecture was to be found in Venice. This edition is in beautiful terracotta pictorial cloth with colour plates by Ruskin. 350 pages includes index. Edited and Introduced by Jan Morris. A lovely copy contained in publisher's slipcase which has some light scuffing.
