New York: Harry N. Abrams. Good+ in Good dust jacket. 1987. Hardcover. 0810915146 . Edgerton was a pioneer in high speed photography and this is the first book of his photograph's since his book "Flash" which was published in 1939, "Contains 138 b&w photos (many are full page) and 22 color plates, including some double page fold-outs. Original gray cloth publisher's covers with white spine lettering. The book is in very nice condition with the exception of a nick to the cloth on the edge of the rear cover; there are no markings to the inside or the outside and no previous owner names or bookplates. The dust jacket is also in nice condition except that the jacket is worn through at the rear fold over. These defects reduce our estimate of condition to Good overall. ; Color & B&W Photographs; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 167 pages .
