New York: Literary Guild, 1932 Published same day as the Doubleday but with out the dustjacket stating Selection for July its hard to tell the difference, this one has it on the front of the DJ. Book: minor fading,shelf rubbing and bumped spine ends, book remains very tight and square,minor soiling to the end pages and former owners name in pencil on the inside front cover. DJ: has soiling,tears and chipping, inside tape repairs and staining,but still 90% complete and the all important "The Guild Selection for July" on the front cover.. First Thus. Hardcover. Very Good/Poor.
Synopsis
The Store is a 1932 novel by Thomas Sigismund Stribling. It won the Pulitzer Prize for the Novel in 1933. It is the second book of the Viadan trilogy, comprising The Forge, The Store, and Unfinished Cathedral.
