About This Item

New York: Bantam, 2000. Book. Very Good Minus. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). 1st Edition. First Printing. Signed by the author in my presence at WorldCon 2018 in San Jose, CA. Silver titles on blue binding with white boards, beautiful map endpapers. There are a few jotted words on the bottom on the front free endpaper, there is wear and/or soiling to boards and some edges and some pages inside at front edge notably page 234-235 and page 914-915. Bottom edges have wear as do most points with a small push to center of back bottom board. Text block front edge has some slight staining. Some pages in the 800's had been slightly stuck together but are now free. There is a bit of mushiness to spine ends. That's why this book is heavily discounted. Boards are straight and stiff. Binding is tight and tips are pointed. Jacket is a tad bit mushy at most tips with tiny tear and frey at spine top. Not price clipped. Looks majestic in its shiny mylar dust protector. Shipping box is suitable for wrapping with a non-price listed purchase order inside along with biodegradable packing..

Synopsis

A Storm of Swords is the third of seven planned novels in A Song of Ice and Fire, an epic fantasy series by American author George R. R. Martin. It was first published on 8 August 2000 in the United Kingdom, with a United States edition following in November 2000. Its publication was preceded by a novella called Path of the Dragon, which collects some of the Daenerys Targaryen chapters from the novel into a single book. To date, A Storm of Swords is the longest novel in the series.
