About This Item

Carmarthen: St. Peters Press. Very Good+ in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1994. First Thus (Updated, Expanded and Re-illustrated Edition). Hardcover. 0951796208 . Blue boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. LIGHTLY 'bumped' to the head/tail of the spine o/w Near Fine. In the original publishers' pictorial dustjacket, which is now protected in a new removable protective book polyfilm cover. Cover photo = The River Towy with the Quay, County Hall and Town Bridge. Map endpapers. A former owner has written their name in biro above the half-title, and someone has written "Merry Christmas 1994" under the illustrators name on the title page. (Pretty sure this IS the writing of the illustrator - seen a few of her inscriptions in my time - but this is unsigned). No other Marks. 442pp. 'Charter Roll' Frontispiece in b/w. Illustrated throughout the text in black and white. The First Edition of this New, Updated, Expanded and Re-Illustrated Edition. Overall an Excellent, Very Clean, Tight and Bright, Near FINE, copy. Would be noted as FINE apart from the inscriptions as described, and a little light negligible creasing to the dustjacket. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall .
