London: Cape, 1924. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. (London: Jonathan Cape 1924). First UK Edition. Inner front hinge partially split to the depth of 5cm (but no loss to the end-paper so could be repaired) some spotting to boards else VG. Clean internally; no inscriptions; and In the ULTRA - SCARCE VG+ dustwrapper which is complete with the original price of 3s 6d net intact but with a couple or so very short tears, light damp stains/ soiling/ darkening to what is a mostly white dustwrapper reproducing the same pastedown image of the front boards onto the front panel. Overall VG/VG+. N.B: this copy has all 6 colour plates present (as required in the first edition). Photographs/scans available upon request. Rare.
