About This Item
Greenberg hit 58 homeruns in 1938 missed 47 months of his prime to military service and took off Yom Kippur in the midst of the 1934 pennant race. My favorite Greenberg story is that after he married department store heiress Caral Gimbel one of his teammates said for most of us life is a gamble but for Hank it's a Gimbel. Condition of book and dust jacket fine.
