New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1923 xviii, 340pp, bound in illustrated mustard cloth, complete with all 47 b/w illustrations, as called for, [which includes head & tail-pieces]. Covers show lower edge wear, along with age darkening. Interior shows previous owner's name "Allan Grant 1924" on the front free endpaper. Someone with dirty hands had the audacity to handle this book, leaving behind the occasional fingerprint or smudge mark on the pages.
