The Story of Tobit, illustrated and transcribed by Claude Harrison from a New Edition by Hubert Butler. The original version of the story is thought to have been written around 350 BC - the present story is based on the Book of Tobit in the King James Bible or Authorised Version of 1611. This has attractive rounded corners and it is printed on high quality acid proof heavyweight paper. The text block also has rounded corners. The entire book has been reproduced - beautifully - from the original pencilled manuscript. Charming and unusual. Clean and tight binding. Issued without a jacket.. 1st Edition.. Hardcover.
