About This Item
Melbourne: George Robertson, and Dunedin: R T Wheeler. Third edition 1873.. Hardcover. Good. Original dark green cloth, lettered in gilt on spine, a little soiled and a little frayed on edges and spine. The paper used has browned somewhat and pages 90-98 look a bit grotty with a few worm holes, paper graying and what look like ink marks. Marginal gutter tear to the top of two leaves. Overall not a bad copy of what is a scarce title, across all three editions. vii,260, pages, 12 page George Robertson Catalogue, dated January 1874, bound in at rear. Small marginal tear without loss to text on one of these leaves. Ownership inscription of Miles N Carter, Nov 16th 1876 on front end paper.
