Boston. MA: Gardner A. Fuller, 1862. Hardcover. Very Good. 386 pp; a novel of the occult published to coincide with the interest excited by Dickens' GREAT EXPECTATIONS, with 4 steel engravings by F. O. Freeman, tissue guard present in fine condition but is pulled away from gutter for approximatley 1' from the top; hinges intact, binding tight, gold foii stamping on spine is somewhat faded, very occasional foxing to interior pages, has name and address stamp of former owner on ffep, published in brown cloth boards, small spot of staining to front board in top center.
