About This Item
Cincinnati: Stewart & Kidd Company, 1920. Second Impression. Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. 4 3/4" x 7 1/8" . GOOD / NO DUST JACKET. xii, [4], 264 pp, including 6 blank pages at the end for "Memoranda." Pages are lightly toned, and there are a few faint pink smudges on the list of Illustrations page. Otherwise, all pages are clean, unmarked, and undamaged: no tears or folds. Includes numerous illustrations and decorative initials, plus 12 color plates. Front and back hinges are cracked, book opens easily and lies flat, but binding is not compromised; book is solid. Boards covered in dark green material; gilt titling and image of a wicker fishing tackle box on front. Gilt is somewhat rubbed on front cover but not badly; however titling on spine is almost invisible. Exterior shows remarkably little wear: edges show almost no shelfwear and corners are only lightly bumped. Top and tail of spine are worn, tiny tears beginning to form, but even that damage is minimal, especially for a book of this age. Overall quite good.
