Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1946. 436pp, gray cloth boards with titles in black on spine and black line drawing/scene on front and back boards. The 1946 date is on the title page and the copyright page, indication a First Edition. Spine is faded and upper edge of boards is slightly faded, but binding is tight, spine is straight, and corners are square. Some shelfwear to spine ends. Pages are clean and unmarked, with only the faintest toning. No dust jacket. In 2019, Petry's novels were added to the Library of America series, placing her work among the giants of American literature. . First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo.

Our Internet business began in 2001. Upon visiting the store, we can show and sell individual online titles upon request. Store hours are 10:00-5:30 (Tues.-Sat.) and 11:00-4:00 (Sun.).
