This book is a little bit an autobiography but more than that it is a personal biography of three great shows: My Fair Lady, Gigi, and Camelot. This book talks of the actors and actresses and their ups and in front of and off the stage and the grand collaboration of Fritz Loewe's music and the casting of Moss Hart. In the midst of all this Lerner shows how a show is conceived, financed, written, produced, stated, saved, and finally given to the public for an opinion. As he goes through the three productions the readers sees that this is a book about the world Broadway shows and those who love putting them on stage. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
