First edition, 2nd printing. 452pp, with two sections of plate illustrations. In blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine (boards are strong, clean, sharp and square). Deep blue endpapers. Signed by the author on the title page with the inscription 'To Barry , best wishes, Ann Widdecombe'. Internally neat, clean and tight with just a hint of creaminess. In its origina dust jacket (very slightly bumped on edges). Former MP and Government Minister, Ann Widdecombe tells her story from her childhood in Singapore, to her student ambitions at Birmingham and Oxford, through to her life at Westminster where she became known as one of most outspoken, colourful politicians.
