Minor rubbing or very slight jamming to spine ends. A fine and clean copy. A statistical, technical and financial record of each of the individual companies of the old Rand, the Far West Rand and Orange Free State. The technical and financial position of the companies is explained with opinions on the individual shares concerned. The preface to this edition expounds upon the importance of uranium as a factor in the future of the Kaffir market and suggests that, "It (uranium) must be an important factor in any choice of a Kaffir portfolio at the present time.".

The Argonaut Book Shop was founded in 1941 in the middle of the financial district of San Francisco. The Argonaut was a founding member of the Antiquarian Booksellers\' Association of America and has been a member in good standing ever since. The Shop is now located just three blocks from Union Square in downtown San Francisco and is open six days a week. Parking facilities include ample street space and a parking garage close by.
