The condition is Near Fine with a Good+ jacket, c1963. "On September 7, 1776, The 'Turtle' - the first practical submarine and the first ever equipped with explosive devices - set out to attack the British flagship in New York bay." from the jacket. This book has a very clean & bright cover and very nice edges and corners. The pages are tight, bright and unmarked. There is a p/o imprint on the title page. The jacket which has a very good illustrated cover has some light wear, and a small bottom edge tear. Nice sturdy book !
