New York: New Directions, 1948. First Edition . Blue Cloth. Near Fine/Good+. Minimal wear to corners, previous owner's unique bookplate inside front cover. Jacket is somewhat worn, lightly soiled, fading to spine; original price ($2.75) at bottom of front flap. Though this is not a book club edition, an original Fireside Theatre Bookclub brochure is included. This play originally opened in Texas; then in NY at the Music Box Theater on Oct. 6, 1948. Inscribed by the author on the front flyleaf.Original owner was well known by me; provenance available to those with serious interest.
