New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1928. Hardcover. Good/Good. Eighth Printing. Good in a Good jacket, unclipped ($2.00), heavily toned and soiled, stains throughout, chips and closed tears at the edges. Black buckram, stained and rubbed, some remnants of the jacket on the surface, a tear at the head of the spine. Square, bound with some reading wear, toned endpapers, tide mark at the top end and in the gutter of the text block. Hemingway's classic novel of expats traveling to Spain to take in bull fights and the running of the bulls.
Synopsis
Based on real events and acquaintances of Hemingway, Sun Also Rises is about American and English expats in Pamplona.

This was the one book I never read from EH. I have to say it is an outstanding achievement of the human experience. What a book! Finishing it gives you a feeling of what's real, eternal and why our lives are full of contradictions.
