About This Item

Norfolk, CT: New Directions, 1944. first edition. Hardcover. Very good/very good +. 6 x 9 in. Ochre cloth boards. 1944 stated on the copyright pg with no further editions. Condition is VERY GOOD ; covers are very clean with minimal shelf wear, but are faintly foxed, with darker foxing to front joint only (see photo). Binding tight and text bright and unmarked. DJ is VERY GOOD+ ; clean and bright with minor chips to the corners and spine ends. Small closed tear to spine tail. Price-clipped. Edges have a faint crease where the DJ was folded at an earlier point so that it was off center a bit, we have realigned it. In a Mylar wrapper. The wartime wrapper was of flimsy paper, so this is an unusually nice example. Fic. RGR.
