NY: Longmans, Green & Company, 1934. First Edition . Hardcover. Very good with no dust jacket. Orangeish cloth is just slightly sunned on the spine, minor soiling near hinges of endpapers. Small spot of soiling on bottom edge of page block. Owner's name and date at top of front pastedown. Inscribed by the author at the top of the front endpaper: "Tulsa, November 15, 1934/with pleasure/John Joseph Mathews". The Osage author's second book and first novel, and very scarce signed at the time the book was released.
