About This Item
Boston: Phillips, Sampson, and Company, 1854. 326 & 432 pages. Blind stamped brown cloth with gilt stamped lettering on spine. Covers show light wear at foot of spines and corners. There is a little heavier chipping at the crowns, more so on volume II. Both volumes show just a little spine lean. The blank front free end leaf and fly leaf have been removed from Volume I. There is a little foxing in both volumes, mostly on first and last few leaves. Scattered small and light smudges. There is a stain at the lower outside corner in the margins of the last eight leaves of Volume II. Both volumes remains tight and are otherwise generally clean.. First Edition. Cloth - Hard Cover. Fair/No Dust Jacket.
