About This Item

New York: Random House, 1954. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Very good. Inscribed and dated in the year of publication by John O'Hara on the front flyleaf. The author "offers opinions on everything from Ernest Hemingway to publisher's blurbs, from George Washington to plagiarism." Octavo. Original decorative paper-covered boards over a brown cloth spine, with titles stamped in various colors. Period bookseller's label to the front flyleaf. The spine is leaning just a touch. Some light wear along the extremities of the dust jacket; otherwise very good.
