About This Item
London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1999. First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. This is a first printing of the first edition, with a complete number line. The interior of the book is clean and fresh, with slightly darkened paper. The former owner has put his name and a date on the inside front endpaper, and there is an author's signature on the title page, but no other marks or signs of wear. The burgundy covers are fresh, with just a bit of wear at tips and corners. The gilt spine lettering is still shiny. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and is also in excellent condition, with no rips, tears or damage. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. A very nice copy.
