Front wrapper with marginal tears and a few pieces missing, rear wrap missing, spine label lettered in pencil, aside from a few small marginal tears to the first few pages, the text is clean and unused; this is solid reading copy in good condition.. Pp. (6), 480; vi, 494. Original printed wrappers, lg 8vo. This is the complete second edition of this classic descriptive flora covering the Gametopetalae. It includes volume I, part 2 (1884) and volume II, part 1 (1878) of the original edition. Small circular stamp of Loyola College on the title page, no other marks.
