Toronto: Clarke, Irwin & Co., 1949. First edition red cloth hard cover with dust jacket, VG/G. Prior owner's name neatly inked on front flyleaf, otherwise unmarked, sound copy with lightly bumped corners. Unmarked bookplate on front pastedown. Dust jacket is chipped at spine ends, has a clear tape mend along front fold. Flaps are neatly four corner trimmed as was the custom of the day, but original $2.75 price is intact on rear flap. New mylar cover. Witty and humorous companion volume to The Diary of Samuel Marchbanks.. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - 8" - 9" Tall.
