Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for a long gift inscription detailing the Opera House on the FFFP. Book Condition: Very Good +; light rubbing to wraps. No DJ. Pictorial card stock wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is not creased or split; text is secure in binding. 188 pp 8vo. Written by the Opera House owner, she tells the story of one of the top historical attractions in Colorado, built in 1879 in Leadville Colorado, at the time of the great silver discoveries in the area. Full of B&W photos of Leadville, the actors and actresses who performed in the Opera House, and period newspaper ads that featured the Opera House and its productions, performers, and local businesses which show how developed Leadville was for the time. A clean very presentable copy.
