This is a scarce, original issue of the monthly publication "TAC MAGAZINE" - A Magazine of Theatre, Film, Radio, Music, Dance from April, 1939. Volume 1, No. 9. The magazine was a journal of the performing arts with an anti-fascist emphasis, published by the Theatre Arts Committee (TAC) in New York. Articles in this issue include "Confessions of a Nazi Spy," "Babes in the Wood," "Because She is a Negro," and more - please see the photos for the complete list. There are photographs, illustrations and advertisements throughout.
Condition:
Some light soiling to the cover; light tanning at the bottom half of the back cover. The issue is tightly bound - both covers are firmly attached and there are no loose pages. Nice interior - the pages are clean with only a few random light smudges, and a tiny stain at the outer edge of the last page. Overall the magazine is in Very Good condition.
