The author's first comments on teaching is that it is the meeting point of pedagogy (art, science, profession of teaching) and salesmanship for a teacher in order to gain and hold popular favor necessary to perfect mastery and full enjoyment of their chosen work. He then goes into the necessary elements to gain popularity through diplomacy, personality, manners and dress, dignity and poise, and personal and professional dealings. A book full of good advice for the new and experienced teacher. A clean very presentable copy.
