(slight chipping head of spine, minor creasing, edgewear), still VG/VG- copy, inscribed by author on ffep. First edition, inscribed, of this informative memoir of the Korean War and its aftermath, including the deposing of Syngman Rhee after a rigged election, and the military coup that followed. Rhee was especially bitter about the refusal by the Americans to march into North Korea.
