New York: Thomas Nelson and Sons, 1936. Green hardcover cloth binding oblong shape, faded on spine and somewhat faded along spine on covers, has minor soiling, square and tight. Good hinges. Some foxing. Inscribed by author on ffep. Unpaginated. James, a sorrel-colored horse (according to text and title - but illustrations show him as a bay!), is very proud of his beautiful tail. But everyone wants a piece of that beautiful tail - until one day all that is left is a few wisps of hair. Scarce title.. Illus. by Doane, Pelagie. 8vo - Oblong. Inscribed by Author(s). 1st Edition.
