About This Item
New York: Philomel Books, 1966. Philomel ca. 1983. Red plastic-filled paper, deerskin pattern. G+/G+. Tasha Tudor. 157 + [3]pp. Tudor's anthology of Christmas stories and legends. There is a personal gift inscription inside the front cover dated Christmas 1983; it names Martha, Rebecca, Melissa and Naomi. The rear endpapers have split at the gutter, but the hinge holds. Although this is a Philomel copy, it is in a World dust jacket from which the price has been cut. Generally a very nice, clean copy signed and with a remainder P stamped on the top edge. Tudor printed her name in black ink on the title page.
