Hardback, 1889, published by George Routledge and Sons, London, 448 pages.
Measures around 8 1/4" by 5 7/8" by 1 1/8". Quarter brown leather binding with gilt trim and brown cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine. Some scuffing and a little marking, with signs of shelf-wear, some tearing at spine edges and slightly bumped corners. Binding firm. Page edges browned, a bit marked and scuffed, upper edges gilt. Some marking to endpapers but otherwise page surfaces clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
