london: the Bodley Head, 1954 pp.158 incuding Index plus one page of publisher' adverts. illustrated with six pages of photographs. Red boards' gilt with picture of early telephone on the front. Patches of light yellowing on half-title and title pages and owner's name on front endpaper. Otherwise a very good clean copy in a fair protected dustjacket with loss to bottom front corner, wear to corners and head and foot of spine and spine edges and darkening to rear. May require extra overseas shipping.
