In presenting Creed Taylor's, (captain during the Texas Revolution) personal reminiscences of the Texas Revolution, the writer has sought to edit and arrange the material in such a manner as to retain the spontaneity and vitality of the narrator's own colorful style, and yet relieve the reader from the confusion of repetitive and irrelevant matter. The accounts have been further clarified by the inclusion of corroborative information drawn from many reliable sources...THE PUBLISHERS
