About This Item
Naylor, 1944-01-01. 11/44 9th ptg. Hardcover. Good/unclipped but poor . First ed., fourth printing, October 1944; illustrated by William Kresse 'Hollywood' drawings by Vic LeMay;" subtitle "Including His Famous After-Dinner Speech, 'How I Took Hollywood by Storm." 104 p., clean and unmarked; former owner's book plate on front paste down. Binding firm; unfaded green boards have slight bumping of corners, perhnaps because the d.j. looks like it went through some of the hyperbole in the jokes here. The front panel is detached, and there are enough chips on the edges (especially at crown and foot of spine panel, where there is also a long closed tear) to help feed a Texas barbecue.
