About This Item
Publisher's tan wrappers with black title lettering and a portrait of the author within elaborate decorative black border, octavo, pp. 114. Additional use of the cover portrait as a frontis. Alas, a reading or working copy only, with considerable wear, short tears at crown and foot of spine; nicks; smudge on page 6. Withal, sound and still serviceable. An uncommon title now protected against further wear in a clear Ultra-Pro display sleeve. Author (1868-1942) wrote a Tang of the South column for The Lexington Herald. See Smith, American Fiction: A Bibliography 1901-1925, E-146.
