Edwards and John Magee, Jr., considered "the bible of technical analysis.. Octavo, xxv, [3], 431pp. Blue cloth, title in gilt on spine. Stated "Copyright 1948 by Stock Trend Service" on copyright page with no additional printings noted. Toning to endpapers, the occasional finger mark, solid text block, a near fine example. In the publisher's dust jacket, $10.00 retail price on rear flap, separation of dust jacket liner on front and rear flaps, chipping and sunning along top and spine, some loss at edges. A very good example of an exceptionally rare dust jacket. Both Robert D. Edwards and John Magee, Jr. redefined the research and writing of stock market analysis for their time. Together, they researched the Dow Theory and various stock market trends in the tumultuous first half of the twentieth century and presented their discoveries in this publication. Since then, ten updated editions of Technical Analysis of Stock Trends have been released. The most recent was published in 2019.
