The first edition, first impression of this workConsisting on two Lord Peter Wimsey tales, four Montague Egg stories, and eleven further tales of mystery and detection.Sayers was a prolific author of crime fiction during the Golden Age of Detective Fiction, and one of the 'Queens of Crime', alongside notable others such as Agatha Christie and Ngaio Marsh. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head, otherwise externally excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Light mark to title page, pages otherwise clean and bright.
