Vintage Paperback, Signet D2368: One of this mid-20th century spy-thriller writer's best novels, it features Telemann, a killer so successful and polished he is considered one of the best weapons in a bristling enemy arsenal when he is dropped into the struggle for a newly-discovered oil field. Text is clean, unmarked, tight and square. Pictorial wrappers show two damaged areas where stickers have been removed -- a dime-sized spot on the front cover and a quarter-sized area on the back cover, o/w only minimal surface and edgewear. Solid reading copy.
