London: Faber and Faber, 1964. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First British edition of Olsen's debut collection of short stories. Octavo (8 x 5.5 in.); 127pp.; red cloth boards, in dust jacket. Light shelfwear at spine ends and tips; front interior gutter shows some cracking to the hinge, which nonetheless remains tight and strong. Unclipped ("15s net") jacket lightly edgeworn and soiled, with small surface abrasions to lower spine and abse of rear panel. Sme rubbing to the red vertical stripe along the rear spine hinge. Very good (+) in like jacket.

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
