Book is first printing of first edition with Rinehart 'R' on copyright page. Second state dust jacket - When Davidson received an advance copy he realized there was an error on front dj flap - Tennessee river does NOT flow through Georgia - so new 2nd state DJs were printed correcting error and eliminating 'Volume I' from cover and spine. Condition of the book is Very Good; exterior excellent, previous owner's name on ffep, text and illustrations are very clean and unmarked. Dust jacket (second state) is Good; spine lightly faded, light wear at edges, small chips at spine ends, one inch tear at top edge of front cover, price-clipped . STK
