About This Item
U.S.A.: Random House , 1957. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. Charles Banks Wilson. A fine copy in a very good plus unclipped dustjacket. This copy is signed and dated by Will Henry (Henry Wilson Allen) directly on the half title page. A tight and clean copy. The dustjacket has some mild edgewear to the extremities and some light soiling to the rear panel--but not much. Henry Allen also wrote as Clay Fisher--and together Will Henry/Clay Fisher had 7 titles made into movies including "McKenna's Gold"--"The Tall Men" and "Tom Horn". Very scarce signed--free shipping within the USA. This is a "Young Reader's" publication by Landmark Books and Random House--this being title 72 in the series. With this copy comes a personally signed tipped in (not glued) letter from the personal stationary of Will Henry in which he relates to his own childhood and what the Texas Rangers meant to him--very scarce to find a copy signed and dated on both the book and in a letter.
