Oxford and Gloucester: John Bellows, 1893. Early Edition. Very Good. 'Special' vellum-bound copy inscribed on the half title 'William Stanford with the Editors best wishes'. Handsomely 'Bound by Morley Oxford' in full vellum over bevel-edged boards with two red morocco spine labels, external straps and gilt turn-ins. On the verso of the title page is printed: 'Imprinted at Gloucester, in the Eastgate by me John Bellows, at the expense of J. Gwenogvryn Evans, M.A., of 7 Clarendon Villas, Oxford, 1893.' Bellows has printed both text and illustrations on vellum paper. A finely produced piece of later Victorian scholarship. Very Good 1893
